On Saturday, April 11, 2026, we visited the Thrace Regional Directorate of the Turkish Petroleum Corporation (TPAO) in Lüleburgaz, Tekirdağ, through a technical field trip organized by the ITU Geophysical Engineering Club. The visit was attended by our students, faculty members, and club representatives.

At this facility, which operates within one of Türkiye's most significant natural gas and petroleum-producing regions, students had the opportunity to examine well-log measurements, tour laboratory facilities, and gain first-hand knowledge of drilling operations and related technologies.
