With the support of the Istanbul Branch of the Chamber of Geophysical Engineers (TMMOB), members of the Geophysical Engineering Club and our students participated in a technical field trip on May 16, 2026, to the metro station currently under construction by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) in Esenyurt.

During the visit, students descended into the active tunnel sections and received first-hand information from field experts regarding construction processes and engineering practices.
